Designed with the assistance of Antarctic Scientists who requested a multi-purpose garment as well as one that offer unprecedented warmth. The jacket is lined with our high wicking TS1, with hand warmer pockets and can be worn as a jacket simply to keep warm between dives. The Black Expedition offers an alternative to Hi-Viz Yellow for where visibility is not a priority. For this suit, we have added panels to give extra protection in the chest and front of thigh on the leg, giving extra thermal protection, allow less compression during long dive times and especially during decompression.
The Jacket is fitted with an elastic (removeable) crutch strap system to keep it in place worn over the lower salopette style part and we find this Weezle offers an exceptional ease and range of movement. The exterior is made of tough Paratex, and has the same easy wash and fast drying properties of all Weezle Undersuits.
The Salopette, trouser section is a slim fit design with hip pockets and quick release shoulder straps. The foot finish combines elastic loops for beneath the foot and size ankle zippers, this makes swapping from dive hear to dry gear easier and ideal for snow & ski boots. The Extra Weezle Insulation along the cheat & front thigh area comes into it’s own during decompression in the prone position.
The exterior is tough Rip-Stop Paratex, our toughest exterior option , with toughened protection at bum & knees and has the same easy wash and fast drying properties of all Weezle Undersuits and fully lined with high wicking TS1. As this Undersuit comes in 2 totally separate pieces, it will be possible to order the top section in different sizes and colours. It can also be worn with as the conditions become either cooler or warmer, making it very versatile.
